Janet Fuller and Pat Abbott have managed Trimmers for the last ten years, both having been with the company for over twenty five years.

This large and very busy salon is located close to the entrance of the Concourse shopping centre in Skelmersdale. It is light, airy and fully air-conditioned with disability wheelchair access. There is a large reception, seating and wardrobe area.
The salon has a friendly relaxed atmosphere and clients can select from a range of hot and cold beverages including mineral water, fruit juices, tea and a range of coffees.
Says Pat “We cater for clients of all ages with a team of twenty staff who pride themselves on customer service and a very high standard of hair dressing. Staff development is very important to us at Trimmers and people seem happy here.

We have ten fully qualified stylists. All have achieved Level 3 NVQ standard and have completed the Wella Creative Cutting course. Many of the staff also have the Wella MCA (Master Colour Award).

Trimmers Junior Hair Show

The Trimmers Junior Hair Show is held each February. We have awards for the Junior Stylist of the year and for the most improved stylist.
The juniors also vote for the senior stylist who has helped them the most.
The show is a lot of fun but is also an opportunity to recognise effort, achievement and teamwork.

Salon Specialities

Salon specialities include Ionic hair straightening and Russian hair extensions and colouring. Trimmers was the first salon in the North of England to offer Ionic hair straightening.
