 Adam: Has worked for Spencer Hair Company for 5 years. As a hairdresser he has trained very closely with Garry Spencer and during his time with the company he has built a loyal clientele. Chrissy: Has worked on and off for the company for 5 years in between travelling to Australia and America. She is very enthusiastic creative and trendy her fantastic personality warms to all her clients.
Tim: Has been hairdressing for over ten years, He is a creative stylist who excels in high fashion colour and cuts, but still loves the classic styles. Tim has a loyal clientele ranging from the very young to the more mature. He loves giving his clients a fashionable cut they can manage themselves at home.
Jane: An extremely professional hairdresser, Jane is forever the perfectionist in all aspects of hairdressing, Jane is extremely skilled and gives 150% to each client the highest standard of cutting and styling.
Human Hair Extensions
We offer the finest quality in human hair extensions and we tailor the hair to each individual client’s need. We weave our extensions on a weft, which is a lot kinder to the hair, so the hair lasts longer and is a lot easier for the client to maintain at its best standard. We can use extensions to add volume to the hair, giving it more body and movement, as well as adding length.
We also offer European hair and we welcome you to come in for a consultation where we will listen to your hair needs and advise the best solution.
A member of our staff has been specifically trained in the Ionic Hair straightening process by JHR. Feedback from our clients tells us that after the Ionic Hair Treatment, the condition of the hair is much improved. Thick course hair is left manageable, shiney, soft and silky and lighter. Our clients also tell us that after Ionic straightening, blow drying time is cut by half. We have had feedback from clients who have used the Yuko process and they have indicated that this is a much harsher process which can burn the hair at the ends. Director Garry Spencer works from this salon and it has special significance for him.
‘I used to come here for my hair cut when I was a kid. It was my ambition to buy this shop when I grew up. We’re still not sure about the grown up - but I bought this as my first salon when I was 24 and that set me on my way’.
Complimentary Treatments
Within the salon we offer two complimentary treatments.
We have acrylic nails by Creative Nail Design. Dorothy Mae Taylor is a fully trained nail technician. She also does enriching hand treatments, full manicures and pedicures.
Michelle Taylor is a fully trained Chiropodist. Michelle has worked for Scholl and now provides a comprehensive range of chiropody services.
