March 2009 - Abba Fun Night.
In March all of our staff enjoyed an Abba tribute night at the Floral Hall in Southport. It was a really a great fun night with loads of Dancing Queens on view.
Spencer Hair Company Junior Show 2008
This year’s show was the biggest and best ever. It was held at Studio 55 in Southport, a venue which lent itself perfectly to the event.
Approx 20 assistants took part.They each presenting models, all of whom were cut, coloured and dressed to a particularly high standard.
The Year 1 group was won by Bradley Wolfenden from our Hill Street salon, Southport.
The Year 2 group was won by Rachael Norris, also from the Hill Street salon .
The Year 3 group was won by Amy Pierce who has now been promoted to a stylist at our Southport East Bank Street salon.
The standard of work was exceptional this year for its creativity and attention to detail.
The competitions were all kindly judged by Simon Nezri of Simon Alexander in Liverpool, Scott Charles of Scott Charles in Preston, Angie James of Toni & Guy Liverpool and head judge Mr Tony Marriot of Headlines, Southport. |

Client Development Competition.
Within the Spencer Hair Co group we recognise that our hair stylists have a major impact on the level of business we receive from our clients. We run a Client Development competition on a regular basis involving all staff across all of our hair salons. These competitions cover either a 4 or 8 week period.
Bowling Team Building Event
All 3 hair salons took part in the event at Premier Bowl in Southport. Everyone was put into teams with members from other salons. This was done mostly to get everyone familiar with staff from other salons (and also because Team Walton always win…!)
The event was extremely successful and everyone had a great time.
There were several team winners and the overall winner on the night was Jenni Paes, manager of the Walton Vale salon.
Wella Trend Vision Photoshoot
Spencer Hair Co did a photographic shoot in Febrary 09. All the creative team took part and the shots were used for the entry to this years Wella Trend Vision Award, which is one of the most industry’s most inspirational hairdressing events.
The shoot was a fun, motivational and a great opportunity for our stylist to showcase their true creativity.
