Bruno Marc Giamattei – SHC Workshop in May 2010
For over forty years, the Giamattei family have been trend setters in the hairdressing business, making people look and feel beautiful. Bruno Marc runs a leading salon group in the South East and in addition to his responsibilities, he enjoys his additional role as Manager of the Fellowship for British Hairdressing 2010 Fame team. Having won the British Hairdressing Awards Southern Hairdresser of the Year, Bruno is extremely well respected for his craft

Bruno first got the taste for hairdressing when working for his father in his barber shop. From there, hetrained and qualified at Alan International, before going on to study at Sassoon's. After opening his first salon in Henley on Thames, he quickly became recognised as a true talent, and he can now fill a venue and to present to two thousand inspiration seeking hairdressers.

On the 30th May, Bruno Marc will be doing a workshop with all of Spencer Hair Co's stylists, at the Hill Street Hair Salon in Southport. Staff from all three of the Spencer Hair Co branches will attend. This is a fabulous opportunity for them to improve their trend awareness, nurture their inspiration and further their already sparkling talents in hairdressing.

Bruno will be working alongside our stylists creating hairstyles which are fast becoming the ones everyone wants – keeping Spencer stylists two steps ahead of other salons in the style trend business. For Spencer Hair Co to receive a personal visit and demonstration from such an acclaimed hairdresser is a special achievement and reflects the status in the industry that Spencer Hair Co holds. Bruno Marc has planned this visit in a packed, international dairy, working across the globe as part of the Fame Team, representing popular hair product group, Wella, plus his six salons in the London area.

Bruno Marc will demonstrate to our staff the latest in cutting edge styles and colours straight from the London catwalk. His input at Spencer Hair Company, confirms Spencer Hair Co is the salon for the cutting edge in hairdressing, as we develop staff skills and flair with world renowned hairdressing gurus such as Giamattei.

Charity Fun Day

Garry Spencer’s wife is expecting their third baby in May. Special celebrations will be arranged!!

Wella Trend Vision Competition

A photoshoot is planned for 21st March 2010 for Spencer Hair Co’s participation in the 2010 Wella Trend Vision Competition. This is the largest hairdressing competition in world. After submitting photos we hope to be invited to regional final in Manchester, followed by the National Final in London September. Trend Vision will this year culminate in the World Final in Paris in November. This is an extremely prestigious event in the hairdressing world.  Our hairdressers have been in the National Final four times in recent years we have 3 Spencer Hair Co hairdressers entering this year’s competition. As is the tradition at Spencer Hair Co we will be throwing our full support behind our entrants and wishing them spectacular success.

22nd March. Wella Colour Workshop in Hill St Salon, Southport

Wella will be coming into the salon to work with us on the new season’s colour styles. They will be showing us the new blonde collections for 2010. We will be working with these new colours with our models to see seeing which colours we prefer, and what the end results are like.

The focus of the May Wella Colour workshop will be to work with the new red hair  colour palate.
